Article 339 of Penal Code No. 16 of 1960
Article text
1 - يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تتجاوز ستة أشهر وبغرامة لا تزيد على مائة دينار أو بإحدى هاتين
العقوبتين كل من شرع في الانتحار في مكان عام بأن أتى أيا من الأفعال التي تؤدي إلى الوفاة
عادة وتشدد العقوبة إلى ضعفها اذا تم ذلك باتفاق جماعي.
2 - من حمل إنسانا على الانتحار او ساعده بطريقة من الطرق المذكورة في المادة ( 80 ) عوقب
بالاعتقال المؤقت .
3 - واذا بقي الانتحار في حالة الشروع عوقب ذلك الشخص بالحبس من ثلاثة أشهر الى سنتين
وتكون العقوبة حتى ثلاث سنوات إذا نجم إيذاء او عجز دائميين .
