اذا بيعت السفينة لاجنبي او اذا ضبطها العدو او اذا احترقت او هلكت بطريقة ما ، فعلى المالك
المسجلة باسمه ان يعيد
سند ملكيتها الى مكتب التسجيل في الميناء ليجري الغاؤه والغاء صحيفة السجل المخصصة
للسفينة.
ويجب ان يعاد هذا السند في مهلة خمسة عشر يوماً اذا وقع الهلاك او البيع في المياه الاردنية ،
واذا وقع في الخارج
، ففي مهلة ثلاثة اشهر.
