أداب مهنة الصحافة واخلاقياتها ملزمة للصحفي ، وتشمل:
أ- احترام الحريات العامة للاخرين وحفظ حقوقهم وعدم المس بحرمة حياتهم الخاصة.
ب- اعتبار حرية الفكر والرأي والتعبير والاطلاع حقاً للصحافة والمواطن على السواء.
ج- التوازن والموضوعية والنزاهة في عرض المادة الصحفية.
د- الامتناع عن نشر كل ما من شأنه التحريض على العنف او الدعوة الى اثارة الفرقة بين
المواطنين باي شكل من الآشكال.
هـ- الامتناع عن جلب الاعلانات او الحصول عليها .
و- الالتزام بأحكام ومبادىء ميثاق الشرف الصحفي الصادر عن النقابــــة .
